A transportation executive with 40 years experience in day-to-day management of transit systems, Mr. Bartosiewicz currently serves as McDonald Transit’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Previously, he served as General Manager of the Fort Worth Transportation Authority, directing the complete operation of the fixed route transit service, airport bus service, mobility impaired transportation service, rideshare and vanpool programs, and construction of commuter rail.
He is a past Chair of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), and a past president of the South West Transit Association and the Texas Transit Association. He was named the 2001 Outstanding Public Transportation Manager in North America by PTA. Currently serves as a member of the APTA Business Members Board of Governors and Chair of Programs Committee.
